I have recently been to New Zealand and the journey I had will always be etched in my memory in golden letters. All thanks to the service of one of the best travel agencies in New Zealand, Journey Makers. I just had to contact them and the rest was completely handled by Journey Makers. Starting from booking flights with Singapore Airlines, and accommodation at different hotels in New Zealand, to suggesting the best route for the trip and locations for the best local foods.

How it all started

I had planned for this New Zealand trip for ages, and when finally, I got my leaves approved from my office, did it sink in. I had always planned for the locations I would like to visit in New Zealand and the foods I would like to try, but planning for it within a budget seemed like a huge task. I started researching on the internet and that is when I came upon Journey Makers, and I was already half convinced by looking at the ratings and comments of the previous visitors on their official website. But I needed to be fully convinced before making the final call. I decided to call the local office of Journey Makers, and I should mention the way the employees at Journey Makers made sure to answer each of my queries while promising to come up with the best possible plan within 24 hours. 

I was asked about my budget and how much I can exceed it, and they provided us with tickets on Singapore Airlines. Not just that, but the hotels they booked in New Zealand at each of the locations were right within our budget. We did not have to worry about our accommodations as while selecting those hotels, they provided us with each of the hotel’s detailed description, starting from the facilities they have, the food they offer, and whether they arrange for dropping the guests at the nearest airport, railway stations or bus stops.

Memories to Cherish

That was just the beginning, as it was only the planning phase. After coming back from the trip, I cannot stop myself from sharing the amazing experience I had due to Journey Makers, really ‘the best’ travel agency in New Zealand. From getting to know the local Maori history on the North Island, to spending the day lazing around in the lap of nature on the South Island, we get to explore a big part of the country, given our limited time in hand. The first hotel in New Zealand selected by Journey Makers strengthened the trust in the travel agency, as it was cushy and warm with the best comfort foods, which made us ready for the rest of our journey.

As we had already discussed with Journey Makers we had only 10 days to spare, and they should plan our journey accordingly, they made sure we do not miss the best experiences. In the Bay of Islands, we enjoyed the kayak rides along the coast on sunny days. Within the island trails, Journey Makers planned a hike for us and on returning to our accommodation after nightfall, we enjoyed the party organized for the guests where the snacks and drinks were complimentary. It made us appreciate the local culture of New Zealand as well as their welcoming nature towards their guests.    

Close to Nature                  

In the next few days, we got to explore the secluded coves in the bay of the islands, and we truly experienced serenity there. It was not the end, the natural habitat in the islands of New Zealand is vast and varies widely in nature. And we were able to connect with nature through the right planning of Journey Makers to the undisturbed woods of Waipoua Forest. We found ourselves lucky to get sightings of some of the rarest birds of not just the country, but of the world. Our visit to the age-old Milford Sound glacier took us back to the ice age, while the treks in the national parks at Abel Tasman, Te Wahipounamu, and Tongariro made each one different from the earlier. Similar to the parks, each of its lakes holds a surprise for us due to the contrasting nature they possess.

I still think to myself, what would have happened if I had not selected Journey Makers as our travel agency in New Zealand? It had been a blessing to join Journey Makers, as the accommodations they provided us at the best yet budget hotels in New Zealand made the trip worth remembering. The flight to and back from New Zealand booked by Journey Makers ensured the trip was perfect. If we ever get a chance to visit again in New Zealand, I would undoubtedly choose Journey Makers as my travel agency again.
